Mary Ann has always called St. Louis home. Born and raised in North County, it became apparent at an early age that she had a love of sports, competing as a member of an elite soccer team throughout her school years. Her parents, who moved to America from Laos, taught her the importance of hard work, commitment and compassion for others. A graduate from Fontbonne University with a B.S. in Biology, Mary Ann's initial goal was to become a pediatrician. Although prompted by her desire to help others, she soon knew that medicine was not for her. Enjoying interacting with people soon lead Mary Ann into the world of sales, where she spent several years in the insurance industry. After speaking with a friend who had been working in real estate, Mary Ann became convinced that becoming an advisor was the right direction for her. Making the decision to change her sales focus to real estate, she promised herself that she would never treat a buyer or seller the way she had been treated when she bought a home. My parents left their country for a better life. Their life's journey was not always met with kindness. But their example taught me to return cruelty with compassion and to use negative things for good. Because of this, I believe that loyalty, honesty and reliability are some of my best strengths. My goal is to make everyone's experience the best that it can be. I believe that it is important to get to know people at a deep level, in order to understand their concerns and desires. When it comes to buying, building or selling a home, I realize the importance of knowing what verbiage and approach to use and recognize that every person and every situation is different.
